Being advocates of discipline and fitness, Vissanji Academy has integrated sports within the curriculum as well as within their regular school hours. As a subject, Physical Education Sessions include Drills, Yoga and the children are also educated about nutrition and fitness. This is all done to provide a synergy that benefits the mind and the body in numerous ways.
Sports Fiesta- Bi Annual Vissanji Academy hosts an Inter house sports fiesta as an endeavor to showcase sporting abilities of their students. This event inculcates the spirit of healthy competition and fosters positive experiences among the young children.
Playing a sport is a mandate and children are exposed to a plethora of choices and can opt for something of their interest. Professional coaches are engaged to give ample training and practice to the students in the sport of their choice. The massive playground is a significant feature of the school campus.
Cultivating teamwork and sportsmanship, Vissanji Academy's Sports Programme offers students of every grade a chance to engage in a spectrum of competitions, ranging from intra-school events to national-level tournaments. Our students have got laurels to our school by winning many sporting events at District , State and National levels.
Students are provided opportunities to enroll in Post school activities, to build on their competency with the provision of extra training and exposure to competitions.
Activity Schedule Registration FormOur diverse range of activities enables students to explore their passions and skills. Opportunities are provided through Bagless Days, Expiscor, picnics and field trips and performing arts for the development of the cognitive (thinking), affective (emotions or feeling) and psychomotor (physical or kinesthetic) domains. Sessions dealing with AI and design thinking are introduced to students from Std. 5 onwards.
The integration of art and craft into our esteemed co-curricular program at Vissanji Academy is a celebration of creativity and originality. Engaging in these activities not only brings joy in creating and performing but also instills values such as concentration, patience, commitment, and teamwork in our students. An annual Parent -Student Art Event is organized to provide a platform for budding artists to showcase their talents, fostering a culture of artistic expression.
The dynamic performing arts program at Vissanji Academy encompasses the realms of speech & drama, music, and dance. Our vibrant School Band takes center stage, showcasing the talents of our students. The well-equipped music room boasts electronic keyboards, guitars, drum sets, and an array of musical instruments. Annual events are celebrated spectacles providing a platform for every student to participate and express innovative and creative ideas through dance, drama, and music.
