Welcome to Vissanji Academy, a beacon of education and excellence since 1963. This esteemed institution was founded by Late Sir Mathuradas Vissanji, a great visionary who recognized the profound importance of educating the girl child and inspired many along the way.

On June 9, 1963, the school was inaugurated as Lady Vissanji Girls Academy by the then Minister of Education, Honourable Shri Shantilal Shah. This moment laid the foundation for the academy, with Mrs. M.E. Modi as its first principal, guiding her team to impart values and shape a promising future for students, preparing them to be "READY FOR TOMORROW."

The legacy, which was initiated by Late Sir Mathuradas Vissanji, was taken forward from one generation to another. In the 90s Vissanji Academy saw radical positive changes under the leadership of Late Shri Hemant Vissanji, the grandson , a visionary with exceptional foresight. He dedicated himself to providing progressive education of the highest quality, focusing not only on intellectual growth but also on the holistic development of all students.

Today, Ms. Arati Vissanji leads the academy with unwavering dedication and vision, ensuring that Lady Ratanbai & Sir Mathuradas Vissanji Academy continues to thrive and embody the timeless spirit of its founders.
